Do you like puzzles?  What is different about the five pages below?

BALANCING YOUR LIFE

The top heading on each page is different.
The lines below each heading are the same on each page.
What makes your answers different on each page?
Relate everything below the top heading to the priority component on that heading.

For Example:
What is your General Goal relating to Mental Wellness?
What are your Educational needs to achieve this goal?
Education may not mean school.  Here it may mean who accepts your insurance and specializes in your diagnosis.
What are your strengths and weaknesses that will help or hinder you in achieving your goal?
Strengths and weaknesses refer to your personal resources or problems.  (Internal)
What opportunities and threats around you will help or hinder you in achieving your goal?
Threats and opportunities refers to resources or barriers in the community and environment.  (External)
What do you need to capitalize on your strengths and opportunities, and overcome your weaknesses or threats?
For Example:  New Medicine - Weekly Therapy - Gym Membership - Weight Watchers - Change of Address

What steps do you need to meet this need.
What do you need to buy?  Who will you buy it from?  How much will it cost?  How long is this required?
The steps which require use of the FloridaSDC award go on the Life Action Plan.
Now repeat this process for all other Priority Components which you are working on.

Our Recovery Can Be A Puzzle But When We Put It All Together We Can Solve It!
The life analysis identifies three Priority Components that everyone is required to work on:

bulletMental Wellness
bulletPhysical Wellness
bulletWork / Productive Meaningful Activity

Everyone who has Substance Abuse / Dependence Needs is required to work on this.  But there are other Priority Components in the Balancing Your Life Wheel which you may choose to work on to see the whole picture of your recovery.
